The East County Line Road Master Plan is both a process and a plan designed to guide future multimodal roadway investments along a nine-mile corridor between Weld County and Boulder County including large segments within the City of Longmont and Town of Erie. The plan identifies needs for future capacity, safety and multimodal mobility improvements such as shoulder widening, intersection improvements, flood protection and geometric changes. Input from the public is an integral part of this plan as we need to hear from those who live, work and commute along this route.
The purpose of the East County Line Road/Weld County Road 1 (ECLR/WCR 1) Master Plan is to develop goals and objectives for future improvements; identify opportunities, constraints and potential obstacles for corridor improvements; and recommend a list of phased projects for completion within the next five to ten years, and ten to twenty years.
